Rob Musemeche, the founder of Musemeche Law, P.C., is a seasoned family lawyer based in Houston. A graduate of the University of Texas – Austin in 1985, Rob earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the South Texas College of Law – Houston in 1988.
During his law school years, he distinguished himself as a member of the nationally acclaimed moot court team, clinching the National Championship in the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy (Moot Court) Competition in 1988.
Under the tutelage of the esteemed Houston-River Oaks trial lawyer, Tom Alexander, Rob commenced his career, specializing in family and civil trial law. Renowned for his assertiveness, intelligence, and courtroom acumen, Rob has earned a reputation as a formidable legal practitioner. With a dedication to trial law throughout his career, he prides himself on his creativity and solution-oriented approach.
With over 35 years of experience in family and trial law, Rob is widely regarded as an authority in his field, boasting a successful history of handling intricate cases. His distinction lies in being board certified not only in family law but also as a trial lawyer—a rare achievement that sets him apart from the vast majority of attorneys in the Houston – Galveston area.
Beyond his Texas credentials, Rob is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, a prestigious honor requiring stringent peer review and acceptance by the Court itself. Actively involved in the legal community, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Galveston County Bar Association and was recently elected to become its next President beginning in 2025. He is also a member of the Houston Bar Association.
On a personal note, Rob indulges in sailing, deep-sea fishing, traveling, skiing, and college football—typical Texan pastimes. Additionally, he is a recurring cast member of “Night Court – Lawyers Entertaining for Charity,” an annual production by lawyers for charity, which has raised substantial funds for various local causes over its 30-year run.
